Quiteka “Teka” Moten is the Executive Director of the Caregiver Relief Program of Middle Tennessee. She is a native Memphian and graduate of the University of Tennessee- Knoxville. Teka is a certified Dementia Practitioner, Coach, and Trainer. She is a Master’s candidate in the Public Health program at Tennessee State University with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences. She is the 2017 recipient of TSU’s Public Health & Health Sciences’ Research Award voted on by faculty for her work on a unique respite program– providing free in-home visits & vitals checks by an RN to those living with dementia and their primary caregiver.
